There are two main production ways for thermal break aluminum profile.

One is strip feeding way, through the mechanical teeth forming, strip feeding, rolling and other processes to form a “insulation bridge”, known as the insulation profile “strip feeding type “; it is thermal break aluminum profile making machine.

Strip feeder, putting thermal barrier strip in the notch of aluminum profiles, connect 2 pieces aluminum profiles in one part, ready for the rolling process;

Rolling forming machine make the aluminum profiles with thermal barrier rolled, having the compound function.  

Injection process 

Injection process is making aluminum profiles with surface treatment moved in linear through walking system, insulation materials will be flow in the insulation cavity when aluminum profile insulation cavity go through the injector head, cut off it after some time curing.

II  Insulating material

Strip feeding process, the insulation materials is the thermal barrier, the current regular thermal barrier is polyamide 66 (commonly known as nylon 66), its production methods have two: hard pushing and pulling method.

The insulation materials of hard pushing has tight structure, good appearance but more “fragile “, the insulation materials of pulling method has good toughness, but poor appearance.

In order to pursue the surface aesthetics and precision, The insulated materials will be produced by PA66 nylon with ultra-fine glass fiber, that is the main features for the insulated materials in foreign countries. 

Injection process, the insulation materials is polyurethane(PU)insulation adhesive, its composition is generally composed of a resin component and an isocyanate component.

III  Equipment

Strip feeding equipment is divided into imported equipment and China equipment.

Imported equipment mainly is from Germany or Switzerland. The whole equipment includes teeth forming machine, strip feeder, rolling machine and tester.

Aluminum density of 2.7g / cm3;PVC density of 1.4g / cm3; PA66 density of 1.3g / cm3;polyurethane density of 1.2 g / cm3.

The general internal and external wall thickness is 0.15 cm, and the middle thickness is 0.12 cm. The length of the profile is 600cm. The injection cavity is 0.8cm smaller than the strip feeding cavity.
